Berlin, I Love You
BERLIN, I LOVE YOU is the sequel to the successful Cities-of-Love series in which 10 international directors with 20 stars such as Helen Mirren, Keira Knightley, Mickey Rourke, Toni Garn and Hannelore Elsner tell stories about their city and love.
Mayr Nell was hired right from the start of the first filming to make the project known to potential sponsors and to spark interest.
To this end, we placed a unique experiment with the world-famous Chinese artist Ai Weiwei and actors like Til Schweiger and Veronica Ferres in the media during the Berlin Film Festival: for the first time in the history of the film, an episode was created via remote control because the director AiWeiWei couldn't leave China at that time.
Result: hundreds of publications in international media, e.g. also a TV feature on the main news of German television, the “tagesschau”.
